I totally envy your freedom, so don't get me wrong. I was the type of guy when I was young that needed some kind of validation, maybe because my parents didn't provide it or whatever, I think instinctively, impressing a woman enough to marry you was part of that validation for me personally. I did it, I have a beautiful wife and two kids I adore to death so I have no regrets.

On the flip side, do you have a girlfriend or anyone you see on a regular basis and if so, is that relationship physical in terms of sex? The reason I ask is that females have been programmed since 20,000 BC to be attracted to men who provide and/or protect them. If you are so casual about all of the "protective" things like houses etc, do you still have women attracted to you? My guess is yes, that there are a lot of women who feel the same. Just trying to have an adult conversation about single-hood vs marriage, etc. and what the pros and cons are. I can get laid any time I want to. I love my kids they bring me joy daily. Freedom is nice, and I kinda can do whatever I want as well. I can do all of the things you described above and my wife would say "yes dear". The question is do I want/need that?
